Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about LawRush, our rush desk model and what we can honestly offer under Singapore legal practice rules. Updated 21 July 2026.
Is LawRush an AI-income / get-rich rush product, a sports brand, a lifestyle coach, Legal Aid, or does it guarantee same-day wins?
No — on all counts. LawRush Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore legal-services practice providing commercial counsel under professional conduct rules. Rush refers to responsive, time-sensitive matter handling when your deadline is already live — not ProfitAiRush, EarnAiRush or any income-education scheme; not athletic wear; not motivational coaching; and not a government Legal Aid bureau. We do not guarantee same-day wins, damages awards, regulatory clearance or litigation outcomes. Urgency affects triage priority and discussed response windows — it does not override facts, forums or counterpart behaviour. If you need free legal aid, contact the Law Society of Singapore or Legal Aid Bureau directly.
What happens during a rush briefing?
You share your deadline, matter type, counterparties and documents on hand. We run a preliminary conflict check, ask clarifying questions and explain whether we can assist, indicative fees in SGD and a realistic response window. A briefing is not legal advice and does not create a solicitor–client relationship until an engagement letter is signed.
Do you offer fixed fees?
Yes, for many sprint engagements — contract review, PDPA gap analyses, pathway memos and formation packages. Complex or contested matters may be hourly with a fee cap. Everything is confirmed in writing before substantive work begins.
Which areas of law do you cover?
Commercial and corporate counsel under Singapore law: contracts, shareholder agreements, PDPA governance, lease renewals and dispute pathway mapping. We do not handle criminal, family, immigration or Legal Aid matters.
How fast can you respond?
We triage during Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 SGT. Many contract sprints begin within 48 hours of signed engagement, but speed depends on scope, document quality and counsel availability. We state windows honestly — we do not sell guaranteed same-day outcomes.
Do you use AI to draft legal advice?
Technology may assist research and first-pass organisation. Solicitors review, edit and sign every client-facing opinion, redline and memo. We do not provide AI-only legal advice.
Can you represent us in court or arbitration?
Our focus is advisory, drafting and pathway mapping. Litigation and arbitration representation may be referred to specialist counsel or co-counsel where appropriate and conflict-free.
How do you handle personal data?
Under the PDPA and our Privacy Policy. Client instructions and documents are handled on a need-to-know basis, stored securely and retained per engagement terms. See Privacy Policy for details.
Can I visit the Circular Road office without an appointment?
We recommend booking ahead so counsel can prepare for your briefing. Walk-ins may be accommodated during business hours if a solicitor is available, but we cannot guarantee immediate availability. For urgent matters, email [email protected] with your deadline in the subject line.
Do you work with overseas companies entering Singapore?
Yes, where the matter involves Singapore law — incorporation, local contracts, PDPA compliance or lease review for Singapore premises. Cross-border elements may require coordination with foreign counsel; we will say so during framing.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer in SGD for most engagements. Invoices are issued per engagement letter terms, typically with a deposit before substantive work on sprint files. GST applies where required by Singapore tax law.
Is everything on this website legal advice?
No. Website content is general information. Advice specific to your situation requires a scoped engagement after conflict checks. Submit a rush briefing if you need counsel on a live matter.
